Rob Link

Founder, CEO

Rob is the owner of Iron Work Studio and a purveyor of custom metal work - being a third generation welder by trade. With a Technical Degree in Electronic Engineering, and a background with the steamfitter’s union, he worked his way up to purchasing his own 200 sq ft warehouse in Severn MD. Business steadily increased and he was able to hire Full-Time employees and purchase all of his own equipment. After a year in Severn, he moved his shop closer to his home in Owings, Maryland and has been there for over 20 years now.  With Most of Rob’s time spent on the shop floor, he also spends a lot of his time putting together drawings in Auto Cad for projects and running the CNC Plasma Cutting Machine and managing his team.

Ryan Stoker

Ryan started with IWS in 1999 when he was 19 years old. Welding, fabricating and heavy machinery are in his blood. Ryan takes projects from start to finish. As a fabricator and welder, he excels at what he does. He cuts through every project with precision and finesse.

Jerrad Poole

Jerrad is the newest of the IWS crew, who was hired part-time in 2017 when he was still a sophomore in High School. His hard work, dedication to the craft, and attention to detail eventually earned him a full-time position when he graduated in 2018. He got his start by cutting off and welding parts together for assembling, and can now take most custom sheetmetal and steel projects from start to finish.

Office Administrator

Kathy is the detailed-oriented and highly organized administrative backbone of IWS. Kathy manages all payroll, bills, balances and bookkeeping. Her positive attitude keeps the business running smoothly and helps our company meet our goals.
